Planning a unit about water?

Our Education Officer can tailor classroom presentations and activities for primary school students and provide information packs with brochures about the water industry, history, audits and conservation.

Make learning fun with Taps & Toilets

‘Taps and Toilets’ is an engineering role play game. Students design water systems for a community using straws placed on a map. ‘Taps and Toilets’ can be adapted to suit different age levels.

Hold a class activity in your sandpit

'Catchment in the Sandpit' turns your sandpit into a visual and dynamic way to learn about the collection and provision of water, the management of wastewater and the impact on the environment. Can suit all age levels.

We offer a range of educational programs and resources around water and wastewater.

Our Education Officer has been providing Coliban Water education programs for more than 18 years and can tailor presentations and activities arounds units on water supply, weather, environment, history and the many other issues relating to water.

Enter the Water Week Poster Competition

The National Water Week primary schools poster competition theme for 2011 is ‘Healthy Catchments, Healthy Communities’. Students can use any art materials to create an A3 poster and must have their entries in by 12 September 2011. Entries are judged locally and winners in each category are submitted for state judging.

Win an award for sustainability achievement

The Sustainability Awards are for secondary school students in our region who demonstrate an outstanding level of achievement in sustainability, particularly with regards to water. The award consists of a cash prize and certificate.
